MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling is the use of a pen to create multiple microscopic holes in the skin. This can trigger collagen production. Some clinicians also apply simple biological agents, such as hyaluronic acid (HA), after microneedling. This promotes uptake of topical biological agents that are placed on the skin compared to topical application on intact skin. Microneedling can have many beneficial effects including improvement in skin volume leading to less wrinkles.
